Coal Clough Windfarm
High on the moors above burnley sit the 24 wind turbines that make up Coal clough Windfarm. Generating enoughpower each year to supply 6,000 Burnley homes, the environmentally friendly windfarm is quite a vision to behold and adds an extra element to a walk over the moors. The farm itself has public footpaths crossing the site so that visitors can see for themselves renewable energy in action.
